PACHERMO PEAK CLIMBING

A thrilling challenge that culminates with views of both khumbu and rolwaling valleys

EX#502.

Pachermo Peak Climbing : Trip Overview

Pachermo Peak (6187m) is a moderate technical peak located above Tashi Lapcha in Rolwaling valley, offering an untouched, less traveled, and more real Himalayan experience. It is a simple snow peak with a well defined ridge rising from the mostly flat but crevassed glacier that still serves as the primary summit access point.

The Pachermo Peak Climbing is considered as a technical route that calls for strong mountaineering abilities, including the use of ropes, crampons, and ice axes. The climb requires traversing valleys, ascent of a glacier, and ascent of steep snow and ice slopes.

Although the climb is technically difficult, experienced climbers with good physical condition and prior high-altitude expertise can successfully complete it. It is advised that climbers have prior experience climbing peaks of a similar level of difficulty and possess a solid understanding of mountaineering procedures.

Overall, Pachermo Peak climbing is a demanding and rewarding journey that provides stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range and the chance to test your mountaineering abilities in a harsh and remote setting. To successfully accomplish the climb, careful planning, preparation, and a high level of technical and physical fitness are required.

Best Time To Climb Pachermo Peak

The best time for Pachermo Peak climbing are from March to May (Spring) and September to November (Autumn). If you are well equipped for the cold weather, climbing is also an enjoyable hobby during the winter. The view of the Alps is clear throughout December, and there are less tourists around.
