26 Days Itinerary

EX#503.

Kyajo Ri Peak Expedition Trip Overview

Kyajo Ri (6186m) is a semi-technical summit located in Nepal’s Everest area. Adventure seekers interested in Kyajo Ri expedition can do it without having to deal with a lot of crowds because it hasn’t been long since the mountain opened for climbing. The trip to the summit and back can be enjoyed in entirety.

Kyajo Ri Peak is an attractive peak in Nepal’s Khumbu and Everest region. It is the tallest peak on the Khumbu Himal range’s southern flanks, which extends north of Namche Bazaar. Kyajo Ri Expedition is a difficult peak climbing approved by the Nepalese Ministry of Tourism only after 2002.

A British and French expedition team made the first ascent of Kyajo Ri Peak. The Kyajo Ri Expedition and Mountaineering combines steep alpine ice with easy rock climbing. Additionally, it provides difficult ascents to summits exceeding 8000 meters, including as Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Makalu (8463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m), and other magnificent high peaks in the Khumbu Himal range.

Kyajo Ri Peak Expedition is normally ascended from the south face. Compared to other routes, this climbing path has fewer dangers like rockfall or avalanches. In a few parts, the climb involves mixed climbing of rock, snow, and ice on steep pitches.

If you’re seeking for adventure on peaks higher than 6000 meters, Kyajo Ri is the best peak to climb. Kyajo Ri expedition will enhance your mountaineering abilities and provide you a spectacular Himalayan alpine expedition experience.
